Talaash follows inspector Surjan Singh Shekhawat (Aamir Khan), who is tackling the accidental death of a film star Armaan Kapoor (Vivan Bhatena). As Shekhawat unfolds the strange case, he gets entangled in a drama that has more to it than meets the eye. Meanwhile, his personal life suffers as he reels under the repercussions of an almost-broken marriage with Roshni (Rani Mukerji), and comes face-to-face with his suppressed grief of losing his only child.

While trying to investigate the case, Shekhawat meets a sex worker Rosie (Kareena Kapoor), who helps him fight his inner demons and also helps him with his enquiry about the accident. How Shekhawat solves the case and revives his relationship with his wife forms the crux of the story.

The film begins with Samar Anand (Shahrukh Khan) a major from the Indian Army, defusing a bomb. After a while, Akira Rai (Anushka Sharma), a Discovery Channelintern, dives in a cold river in Ladakh because of a bet. As soon as she got into the river, she felt so cold that she started drowning and cried for help. Samar saves her and gave his jacket to warm her. Akira, offended by his late reaction, starts yelling at him. After reaching her hotel, she finds out a diary which falls from the jacket's pocket. Curious, she starts reading it.

Samar, aged 28, was a struggling immigrant in London, working as a street musician and a seafood seller. He was offered a job to be a part-time waiter in a hotel, which he accepted. One day, he meets Meera (Katrina Kaif) in her engagement party taking place at his hotel. Meera believed that giving up something she loves is the only way to ask for a favour. In exchange for some English lessons, Samar agreed to teach Meera a Punjabi song. In the process, Samar fell in love with Meera. Samar helped Meera get out of her shell & also in resolving her issues with her mother which made Meera reciprocate his feelings. On the day when Meera was going to tell her father about their relationship, Samar is hit by a car and goes unconscious. Meera starts praying to God to save Samar and makes a vow to never meet him again. Soon, Samar makes a speedy recovery. Samar comes to know about the vow and in anger, tells her to go away and leaves London, giving all his money to his roommate. Samar challenges God to keep him alive while he will risk his life everyday because he believes his death is the only way to make Meera lose her faith in the deity who stole his love. He goes to India and gets a job as an army officer posted in Kashmir.

With the massive success of Residential Evil 4, Capcom without wasting time released Residential Evil 5. In the sequel you take hold of Chris Redfield, the real protagonist from the first game, who has returned to perform a reconnaissance mission in Africa for the Bio-terrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA).

Graphics, Sound, and setting:

Comparing to Residential Evil 4, it has a very different kind of feel which takes place in Africa. The dark, murky forest areas have been replaced by light, desert and urban towns. Residential Evil 5 has a much higher feel with each stage being quite long. This game has a very decent look feel which each character models looks original and the enemies are very intimidating and move around fluidly.

The darkness and mixture of colors that made Residential Evil so mysterious has been replaced by light desert colors and bright industrial areas. Residential Evil 5 has taken major steps to enhance the graphics which are quite better and improved comparing all previous series of Residential Evil.

Controls and gameplay:


Residential Evil’s 5 controls are easy to pick, it has the same over-the-shoulder aiming system from RE 4. Holding down the trigger button will cause the character to point their weapon and from there you can aim and take accurate shots. This technique is effective when you are aiming from far but in close quarters fights it can be disturbing. Residential Evil 5 represents dynamic controls much more and even easier during close quarters combat.

Residential Evil 5 has changed in inventory, it’s real-time. Selection of inventory is easier and making the real time represents the game more realistic. First aid sprays & herbs is also improved. When Sheva is close to you, you can implement it for the healing purpose on both the characters. This helps character in quick and speedy battle.

Final Thoughts:

Residential Evil 5 is not a kind of survival horror just like its first three games, game is full of action and the survival horror aspects or even the suspense in the environment isn’t the same. The game contains bunch of actions, gameplay is impressive and graphics are superb, so don’t waste your time and instantly download Residential Evil 5 PC game here

Resident Evil 4

The first game which launched in 1998 as Biohazard in Japan and later named as Residential Evil in US. It has become a massive hit, and the next two games also did very well in all aspects. Since then after 5 years of long wait the expectation was set very high for Residential Evil 4. The game came out in year 2005 and met the expectations of fans.

Graphics, Sound, and Setting:

Residential Evil 4 focused on Leon S. Kennedy, who is the main protagonist from the second game. He is set to return to seek the president’s daughter in a rural village in Spain. The game story is not much complicated; you are on a rescue mission. The great thing about this particular series is that you can play it easily without having any kind of acquaintance from previous games.

Capcom make its feel quite different and original from the previous versions, the blend of colors is appreciable, and the accurate amount of horror and scare environment is present. The enemies also look realistic with a wide variety of weapons are also available to defend.

Controls and gameplay:

Controls are very easy to learn, it uses an over the shoulder aiming system that is unique. The new aiming system is both beneficial and problematic.
The new aiming system is useful because it helps to take more accurate shots and the bad thing about the new aiming system is the action in RE4 is very fast paced, often with Leon fending off a horde of enemies. When you hold down the aim button, Leon is unable to move. This can put you into tricky situations where you must decide if you want to move and evade enemies or aim and kill them.

The impressive part of Residential Evil 4 is the gameplay. The game contains heavy actions with perfect mixture of suspense. The game is sub divided in different chapters or parts and for each parts there has been new venue. The locations are often very large, and include a castle, island, village, and underground tunnels.

Residential Evil’s 4 is also reach with the variety of weapons available. Each weapon has its own powers and failures. You can also upgrade your weapons from the merchant which can be useful in battle against the enemy.

Final Thoughts:

Residential Evil 4 represents solid story with unique levels and enemies. The game is a perfect mixture of suspense, good graphic, new weapons and new locations. In short it provide hours of fun. Beside few issues in new aiming system and music the game is superb.

The sixth game Residential Evil Operation Racoon City starts on the concepts of different levels of success, but many of the experience is undermined by a number of basic game mechanics that, at best, just not the perfect to provide complete fun.

Residential Evil: Operation Racoon City games lack in so many aspects. The game is dark overall; textures and lighting are nothing impressive. The outdoor atmosphere looked a bit good. There is no variety on the appearance of enemies, the looks flat and straight.

In the game the inclusion of new weapons are nice but they didn’t met the abilities for some of the models particularly useful. Take my Specter’s radar enhancement; not too hard to identify the horde of zombies rushing my way as the enemy.

This serious of Residential Evil disappoint in so many ways, starting from its rather very simple presentation to its dependability on some older game conventions that aren’t very exciting. Big fans of Residential Evil might not appreciate the repeated conventions in this series from previous games.
